Trailers for Sale Near Danielson and Killingly, CT

Introduction

If you're in Danielson, Dayville or anywhere in Killingly, our lot is one straight shot down I-395. It's about 14 miles from Danielson center to 12 Plainfield Rd in Canterbury, roughly 20 minutes by the OSRM route planner. Head south on I-395 about 9 miles to the Plainfield exit at Lathrop Road. From there, Route 12 (Norwich Road) runs south about 3 miles to the lot. From the middle of Killingly, closer to the Rhode Island line, plan on about 16 miles and a few extra minutes.

Trailers that fit Quiet Corner work

Killingly is a mix of downtown Danielson, the commercial strip at Dayville, and plenty of rural road and farmland out toward East and South Killingly. That shapes what people tow.

Farm and homestead hauling. A tandem-axle dump trailer from Lamar or Hillcrest earns its keep moving gravel for a driveway, compost, firewood, or fence posts and rails. More Hillcrest dumps are listed here. Being able to tip a load where you need it saves an afternoon of shoveling.

Small business and market vendors. An enclosed cargo trailer keeps stock, tents and tables dry and locked between farmers' markets and agricultural fairs in Brooklyn, Woodstock and beyond. We carry J&C Suppliers units from 6x12 single-axle up to 8.5x24 tandem (more enclosed units).

Winter and weekend toys. We currently list a Lightning 8x11 snowmobile trailer and a Trailer Masters 8x12 single-axle unit (listed under "other"). For bigger loads, Hillcrest car haulers come in 16+2 and 18+2 lengths.

Close enough for service

Being 20 minutes away matters after the sale too. Souza books trailer service by appointment for any trailer, bought here or not. Repairs are quoted in writing before any work starts, and the free winter check is a safety look-over, not a state inspection.

Connecticut registration in brief

The CT DMV registers personal trailers in person at a hub or branch office. It asks for ID for every owner, Form H-13B, a bill of sale (Form H-31), and proof of ownership. As of October 2026, the DMV lists a trailer registration fee of $43.50, plus a $25 title fee when the GVWR is more than 3,000 lbs. Sales tax is figured at registration. Trailers at or under 3,000 lbs don't need a title (CT DMV).

Paying for it

Each trailer page lists a credit card price and a lower cash or check price. Rather than quote numbers here, we keep them current on the inventory pages. We have several financing paths: a conventional loan, lease-to-own, C3 rent-to-own, ITIN financing, business EIN financing, or your own bank. To lock in a unit before you make the trip, you can reserve it online with a $200 deposit. That holds the trailer for one week. The deposit is non-refundable, but it can be transferred to another trailer purchase, and the balance is paid at the dealership. All trailer sales are final (shipping, returns and payment policy), so ask your questions before you buy.
